Michigan Waterways Council was established in 1952. It is one of 313 councils nationwide, chartered by Girl Scouts of the United States of America (GSUSA) to administer and develop Girl Scouting within the Council's jurisdiction. Our Council serves over 4,465 girls within the St. Clair and Sanilac County area, with over 900 volunteers. Our facility is conveniently located off I-94 in Port Huron. During 2006, one of every 4 girls in our area, ages 5-17, were Girl Scouts.
